How is the water purified?

At the heart of this unique portable filter is the patent-pending filtration media - a polymerised matrix made up of a dense, solid carbon block (produced by compressing activated carbon powder at high temperature), zeolites and a proprietary compound. This polymer matrix has millions of torturous pathways with an absolute pore size of 0.2 micron that provides mechanical straining of impurities, sediments and bacteria. Chemical contaminants, are removed through a surface phenomenon known as absorption; resulting from the molecular attraction of substances to its surface while the bottle is being pressed and the source water is forced through the filter. The filtration media is always sterilised, with the incorporation of pure silver in the polymer matrix that inhibits the growth of bacteria.

Directions for use:

Remove Filter Cap Fill With Water Replace Cap Press for Clean, Pure Drinking Water Or Drink Direct From Nozzle

Initial use:

  1. It's easy! First, flush the bottle and filter-cap. Fill the bottle from tap, hose or other source of water. Fill to about 3~4 cm from the bottle top to allow for filter displacement. Replace the filter-cap and tighten cap securely. Pull open the cap's nozzle and squeeze the water out.
  2. Repeat the above flushing process 4~5 times to flush out residue carbon from the new filter part.
  3. Now the unit is ready for use.
  4. Just refill and squeeze water into glass, or drink direct from the nozzle.

Maintenance & Storage:

  1. Regularly clean your filter by brushing it lightly with a clean toothbrush.
  2. Replace unit after 2 years.
  3. If you are not using the unit for any length of time, you are recommended to clean the bottle and filter-cap with chlorinated tap water to prevent build-up of bacteria.
  4. Allow to dry thoroughly before storing.
