IMPORTANT NOTICE
This is meant to be a "free and easy" adventure trip. Participants should be relatively fit, with a good sense of humour, and above all, have the right attitude for close travel with others through possibly some trying times. Most definitely, this is not a trip for prudes, whiners, fuss-pots, and other similiarly assorted types! We had a couple of those before and it wasn't pleasant for us or them. Although every effort will be made to stick to the given itinerary, ground conditions may change and cause some disruption and/or deviation from the norm. Otherwise, have fun.
This trip is a backpack experience using public buses/trains/taxis/metros from town to town. It is essential that participants pack light and preferably use backpacks or cabin size luggage with wheels. STRICTLY NO BIG luggage. If in doubt about the packing/luggage, please contact us.
Expected to enjoy Sakura bloosom

Hokkaido is the second largest, northernmost and least developed of Japan's 4 main islands. With its unspoiled nature, Hokkaido attracts many outdoor lovers from June to September. Less population, Hokkaido has what the rest of Japan doesn't space. So it's best bet for avoiding the crowds that plague Japan's more well known playgrounds during peak travel season.
