The fares are as follows

  1. Adults pay Rm35 for KL Sentral/KLIA vice versa 35 min ride.
  2. Adults pay 26.50 for Tasik Selatan/KLIA vice versa 28 min ride.
  3. Senior Citizen pay Rm20 for KL Sentral/KLIA. Less savings of Rm4.30.

Here's what you can do to "economise". Airport buses takes 1hr or more.

  1. From KL Sentral, pay Rm9.50 and get out at Putrajaya. Buy another ride to KLIA at Rm6.20 and board the next transit 30 min later.
  2. In total you pay Rm15.70 compared to Rm35 if you go straight from Sentral to KLIA.
  3. But it will involve a 30 min stopover at Putrajaya. Instead of 35 min, it takes 65 min from Sentral to KLIA.
  4. If you board the Transit at Tasik Selatan, get off at Putrajaya, wait 30 min and then go to KLIA, the total cost is Rm11.50 (Rm5.30+Rm6.20).
  5. Of course you will need to lug your barang out and back into the ERL stations. There are lifts you can use at the ERL stations.

Note the departing times of the ERL Transit trains and target to reach the ERL station at the appropriate time.

  1. Leaves KL Sentral every hour at 03 minutes and 33 minutes past the hour.
  2. Leaves Tasik Selatan every hour at 10 minutes an 40 minutes pas the hour
  3. Leaves KLIA every hour at 22 minutes and 52 minutes past the hour.
